Audition Registration Form

All State High School Orchestra Auditions will be held at Ben Franklin High School. Mr. Carl LaCoste will reach out to you to schedule an audition time after receiving your registration form. A list of audition date options and times are below.

DEADLINE to submit this form is MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15.

Audition Date Options:

All dates have time slots from 3:30 - 5:00pm.

Audition fee = $15.00 per student, per audition

CHECKS MUST BE MADE OUT TO  LMEA.  Bring payment to your recording audition.

Recorded Auditions - 1 Round only

Date: Mondays & Wednesdays from Sept 10 - Sept 24 (Fridays are available pending no football game)

Location: Ben Franklin High School (2001 Leon C Simon Dr, New Orleans, LA 70122)

Room: Music Room

Schedule: Contact Carl Lacoste to schedule an audition time between 3:30pm and 5:00pm.

Audition Process: The only round of All State Orchestra Auditions is a live monitored recorded audition that will be submitted as an mp3 file by the District Chairperson. The state then judges the recordings using a rubric. For more information visit the LMEA website.

Audition Results

Results for the auditions will be posted on the LMEA website on Monday, October 21st, 2025.

If you made All State, check the LMEA website for Registration Forms and Fees - turn them in to LMEA.
